On this week's episode of Onboard Lifestyle, the crew leaves Shelter Bay on a successful 20 nautical mile shakedown cruise to Bahia "Buenaventura". We discover a faulty navigation wire, prep basiks wetted surfaces, and eat some clean healthy food before departing for San Andres, Columbia. Basik get an early start and makes way with no hiccups, but then suddenly, her systems go haywire. The crew scrambles to diagnose the issue and ultimately make a heart breaking decision. On this week's episode of Onboard Lifestyle, our haul out continues as the crew knocks item by item off the "to-do" list. Within the first eight days on the hard we were able to scrub and prep the bottom, strip the saildrives, repair the damaged rub rail, remove and prep the daggerboards, paint four coats of anti fouling on all wetted surfaces, and complete all of the routine saildrive maintenance.
